    Goons loot Rs 72,000 gold ornaments from Gittikhadan area

    Nagpur News: Unidentified youths looted gold ornaments worth Rs 72,000 from Gittikhadan Police Station area on Monday night. According to information, Vishwanath Chappati (58), a resident of Sadikabad Colony, Mankapur, had gone to meet his relatives at Jaripatka on Monday night.

    Taking advantage of the situation, some unidentified gained entry in the house be breaking open the lock. They looted gold ornaments worth Rs 72,000 from an almirah kept in the bedroom.

    Vishwanath was shocked to see the broken lock when he came back home. He rushed to Gittikhadan Police Station and registered a complaint against the unidentified youths. Police registered an offence under Sections 454, 457, and 380 of the IPC, informed PI Chakshupal Bahadure. PSI Aade is further investigating the case.
