Nagpur News: Some unidentified goons burnt a car under the jurisdiction of Nandanvan Police Station on the wee hours of Wednesday. Police said, the incident took place at around 3 am on Wednesday at Hazare layout, Ratan Nagar. The Indica car (MH 31 AH 8740) belonged to Mangesh Mankawde (33), a resident of Ratan Nagar.
At around 3 am, he discovered flames coming from his car. He rushed outside only to witness his car in fire. He immediately informed the fire and fighting Department who then rushed to the spot. They extinguished the fire. The fire caused a loss of Rs 50,000. Police registered an offence under Section 435 of the IPC, informed PI Sunil Jaiswal.
