According to the police, Lucky and Sagar were old friends who had not met each other for the last few months. On Tuesday afternoon, Lucky visited the house of Vicky Lokhande in the Tekdi Wadi area, who is a common friend of Lucky and Sagar. After consuming liquor, Lucky was sitting at Vicky’s place when Sagar arrived to meet Vicky. Upon spotting Lucky, Sagar made a comment – “You’ve become quite the big shot nowadays.” This comment provoked Lucky, and he replied – “I don’t drink with your father’s money.” This reply led to a verbal altercation between the two.

The conversation quickly escalated into a physical fight, during which Sagar allegedly used a sharp-edged weapon to stab Lucky. Later, he reportedly used a boulder to strike Lucky’s head. During the fight, Ghosh had first wrenched the knife from the possession of Aade, and stabbed him with it, leading to his death.

Vicky alerted the police about the murder. Wadi police rushed to the scene. The body was sent for post-mortem examination, and a case under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code was registered by the police. A police official stated that both Lucky and Sagar were employed in the transport business. Additionally, it was revealed that Lucky had a criminal history, according to the official.

Ghosh was rounded up by Wadi police.
