Nagpur: Goods worth Rs 26 lakh were stolen from a company in MIDC here between 9 pm of Saturdayand 7.30 am of Sunday. Cops have launched a search to apprehend the unidentified burglars.
The complainant Devendra Shriram Madaskar (45) of New Subhedar Layout, Sakkardara, runs the company named Faints Engineering Works in MIDC industrial area. On Saturday (May 28) at 9 pm, Devendra closed his unit and went home. When the employees of the company opened the unit the next day at 7.30 am, they found cut pieces of steel sheets worth Rs 26.40 lakh stolen. The employees informed Devendra about the theft. He immediately arrived at his unit and later lodged a complaint with MIDC police in this regard.
PSI Patankar has registered a case against the unidentified burglars under Section 379 and is searching for them.
