Goods including gold ornaments worth Rs 3 lakhs stolen

Some unidentified thieves had broken the lock of the main door and gain entry into a house situated in Tehsil area and stole goods including gold ornaments worth Rs 3 lakhs on November 29, 2016.

According to police sources, some unidentified thieves had broken into the house situated behind Parmatma Bank near Golibar Square belonging to the victim Laxmi Naresh Bokde. At around 4 pm on November 29, 2016, the victim Laxmi Bokde had locked her house and had gone to drop her daughter to the tuition classes.

Meanwhile some unidentified thieves had gained entry into the house by breaking the lock and had stolen goods including gold ornaments worth Rs 3 lakhs kept in the almirah of the house.

The victim Laxmi Naresh Bokde realized that her gold ornaments have been stolen only when she returned with her daughter from the tuition classes.

On the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim, the cops of Tehsil Police Station have registered a case of theft and have initiated an investigation into the matter.
