Mumbai/ Nagpur: With a view to facilitate the consumers of Mahavitaran, right from payment of electricity bills to registering of complaints with call centers, the Energy Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Thursday launched a mobile ‘app’ service. The ‘app’ has been developed by Mahavitaran’s information technology (IT) department.
Prominently present on this occasion were energy secretary Mukeshkumar Khullar, Mahavitaran managing director Om Prakash Gupta and other directors.
Mahavitaran has been introducing time-to-time ultramodern facilities in the interest of electricity consumers. The launching of mobile ‘app’ is part of the same. Now, the consumers sitting at home can be able to know their electricity consumption bill and also pay it. This ‘app’ also provides facility of using mobile banking and credits cards for payment of bills.
In addition, the consumers can register their complaints through ‘app’ by attaching consumer number. All information will be supplied to consumers through SMS communication. Mahavitaran allows all consumers to use Toll Free Numbers 1800-233-3435, 1800-200-3435 or website www.mahadiscom.in.
