Nagpur: General Manager (GM) of a reputed hospital brand in Nagpur was allegedly duped of Rs 43 lakh by his former business partner on the pretext of providing lucrative returns. Sadar Police have registered a case against the fraudster.
According to the police, Vikas Ramshiromani Mishra (47), a resident of Mohan Nagar, Sadar, is working as General Manager at Nagpur’s Kingsway Hospital. The accused, Shrikant Murlidhar Thakre (50), a resident of Dev Nagar, Khamla Road, was providing various equipment to the hospital through Dhanlaxmi Sales Corporation.
Under the pretext of making a profit through a partnership in a sales firm, the accused lured Mishra into investing Rs 33 lakh in 2019.
