Nagpur: Nature and Wildlife Trust (NWT) in association with social group Tigers of Central India (TOCI) had organised Global Tiger Day celebration and felicitation of foresters of Pench Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra at Amaltas, Pench Sillari, Pench Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra.
NWT and TOCI distributed essential things to forest labours in order to support monsoon patrolling. It includes Medicine box with first aid kit, foldable stretcher, rainy gumboots and small portable library for forest labours and guards.
Chief guest for this program was APCCCF Sunil Limaye, world known documentary maker Nalla Muttu. Range forest officers from sillari, chorbahuli, deolapar and pawani attended this celebration with foresters.
Documentary on Famous Machli tigress was shown and several lectures were organised on this ocassion. Local school kids, guides from all ranges and from Madhya Pradesh have attended the program.
