Nagpur: The annual Global Nagpur Summit 2016 by Nagpur First, charitable organisation along with co-organiser Nagpur Municipal Corporation, would be held in the city on November 19 and November 20.
Incidentally, this is the third edition of Global Nagpur Summit which aims at taking Orange City on global radar by 2020.
The summit will feature accomplished guests, speakers and panellists. The summit would promote a healthy dialogue by Nagpurians and with Nagpurians to chalk out an action plan to make Nagpur a smart global city by 2020.
The summit will feature a full day city growth conference, a full day global investors’ conclave, a glittering evening of Global Nagpur Awards with 5 global leadership talks already completed this year.
This citizen driven summit continues to receive active support by NMC, political leaders, business fraternity and professionals.
The chief guest of the summit will be managing director of Patanjali Ayurveda, Acharya Balkrishna. The vision talk would be delivered by Union road transport and shipping minister, Nitin Gadkari who will deliberate on the smart approaches and collaborations with key challenges that the nation and the city could face for defining the future road maps.
Dr Vikas Amte will be the chief guest of awards night. Other prominent dignitaries and the eminent speakers of the summit will be municipal commissioner Shravan Hardikar, former managind director of Cisco, Purushottam Kaushik, SCI global envoy Nancy Huppert, and former Chair of board of directors, Sister Cities International.
