Girl forced into flesh trade rescued, accused arrested

Police rescued one girl who was allegedly forced into flesh trade.Through their informants, police had received a tip off that at Ashirwad Kunj, Shahu Nagar, Besa Road, flesh trade was flourishing and some girls were forced into it.

Hudkeshwar police, immediately raided the building, under directions of additional police commissioner, Sunil Kolhe and  assistant police commissioner, Nilesh Raut.

One girl was rescued by police from the spot. Accused, Vishal Shyamrao Jaiswal, 40 , a resident of, Shegaon Main Road, tehsil Warora, district Chandrapur, at present a resident of, G/5, Ashirwad Kunj, Shahu Nagar, Hudkeshwar, Nagpur was arrested under various provisions of  The Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.

The various sections of The Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956 slapped against the accused are inducing the girls into flesh trade with promise of money for own benefit, carrying out the trade inside 200 meters of public place, supplying girls to customers etc. The sections 3,4,5,7 have been applied in the present case.

Police inspectors B M Powar, M B Barapatre, A P Jaipurkar, police constables, Pandurang Nikure, Sanjay Telmasre, Kamlakar Patil, Ajay Ghatod, Gopal Vaidya, Sanjay Pande, Raju Rokde, Anita, Neeta, Pandhare, Nilesh and social worker, Maya Ghorpade participated in the raid under directions of senior police officers.
