New Delhi: “Garib Ka Kalyan, Desh Ka Kalyan,” Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the government has helped 25 crore people to get freedom from poverty in last 10 years. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is presenting the Union Budget 2024 in Parliament. This is an interim budget as it comes just ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections.
This is Nirmala Sitharaman’s sixth Union Budget. The full-fledged budget will be presented by the new government that comes to power after the elections.
Highlights:
· Stock markets opened in green today, ahead of the interim budget being presented by Finance Minister.
