Nagpur: A prisoner who has jumped parole had demanded extortion from a medical practioner in Pratap Nagar area. According to police sources, the accused identified as Kamlesh Sitaram Nimbarte and his accomplices had taken away Doctor Ravindra Balaji Govindwar’s Mercedes Benz car from the driver at gun point.
The victim Doctor Ravindra Balaji Govindwar aged 42 years and a resident of Plot No 16, Gawande Layout alleged that from 12 midnight of November 24, 2016 to 12 midnight of November 25, 2016 has been demanding an extortion amount of Rs 50,000/-. The accused Kamlesh Sitaram Nimbarte and his accomplices have been threatening to kill the victim and his family. On November 25, 2016, the accused had forcibly taken away the Doctor Ravindra Balaji Govindwar’s Mercedes Benz car bearing RTO registration No MH-29/ AR 1262 from the driver near Petrol Pump situated in Sneh Nagar by pointing a mouser gun at the driver. On the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim Doctor Ravindra Govindwar, Assistant Police Inspector Munde of Rana Pratap Police Station has registered a case against the accused and his accomplices under Sections 384, 385, 387, 392 and 34 of Indian Penal Code and under Sections 3+25 of Arms Act.
Sources claimed that the victim Doctor Ravindra Govindwar and the accused Kamlesh Nimbarte had some financial dealing over some property which was not settled for long. The doctor is alleging that the accused is demanding Rs 30 lakhs more than the agreed amount.
On investigations it has come to fore that the accused Kamlesh Nimbarte was undergoing sentence for the murder of Pintu Shirke and was incarcerated in Nagpur Central Prison. However, he came out on parole in few months ago this year. Kamlesh Nimbarte has since jumped parole and has not returned to the prison.

The accused Kamlesh Nimbarte who has been booked by Rana Pratap Police Station for extortion is the same person who was the right hand of dreaded goon Raju Bhadre.
