The goons Hemant Gawande and Yuvraj Mathankar stayed put in his house (consuming alcohol) waiting for the complainant to return home.

At around 9:30 pm, the complainant called the Police Control Room and informed the cops about the daring looting by goons. However, before the cops could reach the spot, the goons had fled from the scene.
