Gadkari’s pre-nomination rally draws huge crowd, Sena candidate from Ramtek joins in

Nagpur: As Monday is the last day of filing nomination for first phase of upcoming Lok Sabha polls, the BJP’s star candidate from Nagpur seat – former BJP president and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has already set out to affirm his candidature.

Gadkari as well as Shiv Sena candidate from Ramtek Krupal Tumane led a vast rally prior to filing nomination. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also accompanied the aspirants in the rally which was attended by astounding number of party workers both from rural as well as urban areas.

Gadkari kickstarted his rally from Zero Mile after paying floral tributes at Shahid Gowari Smarak. Later he reached Samvidhan Square where he garlanded the statue of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar.

Among others who were present in the rally included Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, State Minister Praveen Patel, Rajya Sabha member Dr Vikas Mahatme, former MP Datta Meghe, Ajay Sancheti, Girish Vyas, Krishna Khopde, Medha Kahle, Sudhakar Deshmuklh and other MLAs and NMC leaders.
