Gadkari releases Yoganand Kale’s book “Swadeshi Ek Chintan”

Nagpur: “It needs to combine Swadeshi and self-reliance without opposing modern technology. Swadeshi Jagran Manch should ponder over in that direction,” said Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Sunday.

Gadkari released a book “Swadeshi Ek Chintan” authored by former All India Convener of Swadesh Jagran Manch and former Pro Vice Chancellor Yoganand Kale. The function was held at Gadkari’s residence on Sunday.Dr. Vinayak Deshpande, Convener Shirish Tare, Yogananda Kale, Dhananjay Bhide, Sudhir Dive were present. Yogananda Kale felicitated Gadkari on this occasion.

Gadkari further said that Indian culture and history is related to Indian ideology. There is a need to add technology to indigenous ideas. “We need to think about how we can develop it without opposing foreign technology and how we can combine it with indigenous and self-reliance. Swadeshi should be promoted by the forum in the field of agriculture,” Gadkari appealed.

“Today there is a generator that runs on ethanol. Vehicles are being run on ethanol. Electric buses have hit the market. We want to replace petrol and diesel pumps with electric charging stations for ethanol and electric vehicles. In the future, if the Indian economy is not an importer, but an exporter, India will be economically viable,” Gadkari said. “Yogananda Kale wrote on the development of Vidarbha, economic policies of the country. He also clearly expressed the idea of Swadeshi,” the Union Minister stated..

Yogananda Kale also expressed his views. The book introduces the concept of Swadeshi. Proceeds from the book sale will be donated to Swadeshi Vichar Manch, said Yogananda Kale. Publisher Chandrakant Lakhe also expressed his views, while Ajay Patki conducted the programme.
