Nagpur: The G S College of Commerce andEconomics, Nagpur recently celebrated Digital India week in the college.
The Digital India programme is a flagship programme of the Government of India with a vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The programme was organised by B Com (Computer Application)/IT Department.
The programme was inaugurated by principal Dr N Y Khandait and he explained the importance of ICT. During the week, the Department of BCCA and Information Technology conducted special lecture series on various Digital India themes like e-governance, digital lockers, use of ICT in Commerce, wi-fi services etc.
