A rich sweet dish native to Uttar Pradesh and Punjab state of India. Easy to make and best to serve in this Festive season.
1 kg carrots
½ cup ghee
150 gms sugar
250 ml milk
50 gms sweeth khoa
½ tsp nutmeg
½ cup assorted chopped dry fruits [cashew nuts, almonds, charoli, khismiss, pista etc]
Wash, peal and grate carrots.
Take ghee in a kadhai add grated carrots and sauté, add milk and cook till milk gets evaporated.
Add sugar, nutmeg and khoa and mix well.
Add dry fruits and mix well.
