Nagpur: A chocolate chip cookie is a drop cookie that originated in the United States. The traditional recipe combines a dough composed of butter and both brown and white sugar with semi-sweet chocolate chips.
250 gms Refined flour
150 gms margarine
100 gms brown sugar
Salt [a pinch]
50 gms Castor sugar
½ tsp baking powder
150 gms chocolate chips
1 tsp Chocolate essence
Sieve the refined flour, baking powder and salt together.
Cream the margarine till soft, add brown sugar, castor sugar, eggs and essence and mix well.
Add flour mix and chocolate chips. Make a soft dough with your hands and not by specula.
Grease baking tray properly make small round balls and put them on the tray press a bit on the top to give a cookie shape. Bake it at 1750C for 10 mins.
