Kawsar Quersehi, a 38-year-old woman battling Rheumatoid Arthritis for 10 years, has regained the ability to walk after undergoing bilateral total knee replacement surgery. She suffered from severe bilateral knee pain which over years progressed to such an extent that she was unable to walk and even bend and straighten her knees needing assistance to carry out her daily routine.

After exhausting various conservative treatment options over the years, Kawsar sought the expertise of Dr. Gajanan Pisulkar, an experienced arthroplasty surgeon with more than 250 arthroplasties to his credit, based in Wardha recommended bilateral total knee replacement surgery as the optimal solution for her condition. Under the guidance of Prof . Gajanan Pisulkar and his team, Kawsar underwent the total knee replacement surgery at Acharya Vinoba Bhave Rural Hospital, a part of Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Vice Chancellor of Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research, Dr. Lalit Bhushan Waghmare, principal advisor Shri.
