Nagpur: In what could be mentioned as freak accident, a Mahendra Bolero SUV vehicle bearing RTO Registration No MH-31/ CP 8887 slipped down the slope and fell into a hut built touching the road embankment wall at around 7:45 pm on March 31, 2015.
According to eye-witness, the woman driver who was driving the vehicle identified as Dr. Jyotsna Dhananjay Dharmik, aged 45-50 years and a resident of Plot No 42, Hill Top and the wife of an Income Tax official Dhananjay Dharmik had stopped on the right shoulder of the road on the slope climbing to the hill-top settlement. However, the hand-brakes could not withhold the weight of the vehicle and the vehicle slipped down and landed directly on top of a small hutment sort of house built next to the embankment wall of the road.
A wife of the hut-owner identified a Mrs. Vijay Gupta and her sister are said to have got critically injured and have been taken for CT Scan to Ameya Hospital. The little girl aged 6 years old escaped with minor injuries. Even the woman driver Dr Jyotsna Dharmik had incurred some injuries but was discharged after first aid.

The Ambazhari Police Station summoned the crane and removed the vehicle while the onlookers had already removed the injured and dispatched them to hospital. The house is in shambles. The wife of Vijay Gupta was cooking the dinner when the incident occurred at around 7:45 pm. Till the time of writing the story, the condition of the injured women could not be ascertained.
