Nagpur: Fire broke out in an apartment building in Itwari area here on Sunday night. Two fire tenders brought the fire under control. Property worth Rs 70,000 was damaged in the fire. However, there were no reports of any casualty. The exact cause of the blaze is being investigated.
According to Fire Brigade sources, the fire broke out in a flat of Gayatri Complex situated in Itwari around 10.40 pm on Sunday. The flat belonged to Rai family. Two fire engines along with a team of eight firefighters managed to douse the fire before it could take shape of a major disaster. The blaze reduced property worth Rs 70,000 to ashes. However, there were reports of any casualty.
The exact cause of the fire is being investigated by Fire Brigade.
