Nagpur: To make it easier for voters to locate their polling booths for the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) General Elections, the NMC’s Information and Technology Department has launched a new digital platform. Voters can now instantly find their polling booth through the NMC website, the municipal chatbot, the AI Mitra service, and the My Nagpur mobile app.
The new facility, titled “Find Your Polling Booth”, has been integrated across multiple digital platforms to ensure easy access for all voters.

Providing details about the initiative while briefing the media on the election process, NMC Commissioner and Election Officer Dr. Abhijit Chaudhari said the platform has been developed to avoid confusion among voters, especially as polling booths may have changed for some citizens due to an increase in the number of voters after the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
With the voter list for the upcoming civic elections expanded, the possibility of changes in polling stations has increased. To ensure voters are well-informed and face no last-minute uncertainty, the IT Department developed this digital solution under the leadership of Chief Information and Technology Officer Swapnil Lokhande.
Using the platform, voters can search for their polling booth by entering their name as mentioned on the voter ID card or by using their EPIC (Voter ID) number. Searches can be conducted in both Marathi and English. The Commissioner advised voters to use the EPIC number for faster and more accurate results.
After entering the EPIC number or name, voters are required to select their ward number. Once the details are submitted, the “Search My Booth” option appears. Clicking on it displays the polling booth name along with EPIC-related details. Voters can then click on the map arrow icon to view the exact booth location. The system also provides navigation support, enabling voters to reach the polling booth from their home using map-based navigation, which can be shared with others as well.
The facility is also available via a chatbot. Voters can access it on WhatsApp by saving the number 7397807397.
How to Find Your Polling Booth:
- Visit the NMC website: www.nmcnagpur.gov.in
- Click on the “Find Your Polling Booth” window
- Enter your name or EPIC (Voter ID) number
- Enter your ward number
- View your polling booth details
- Click on the “Details” option
- Access the polling booth map and navigation support
