Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande‘s unfortunate breakup has raised several questions in B-Town and among fans. While initially there were a lot of speculations doing the rounds that it was Ankita’s lack of zeal with her work and clingy nature and Singh’s closeness with his co-stars Parineeti Chopra and Kriti Sanon that resulted in a crack in their relationship. Another reason that made the rounds were Ankita’s alcoholic nature. Reports suggested that she was very much addicted to alcohol and paid less attention to work. It was quite a big shock as the duo shared plans of marriage and even confirmed with the media that they were to get hitched this year itself.
While earlier Ankita did seem startled over the breakup rumours, soon she too started posting tweets hinting at their breakup as Sushant chose to stay mum. We exclusively told you that things turned sour between Ankita and Sushant because of his fallout with Yash Raj resulting in her not getting the part in Sultan. However, finally Sushant has opened up about the matter and decided to clear the air around the breakup rumour. In a tweet sent by the actor minutes ago, he stated, “Neither she was an alcoholic nor I am a womaniser . People do Grow apart & its unfortunate . Period!!” Looks like the water boiled up to brim for Sushant to finally divulge in the matter and give a clear answer to everyone curious about the mysterious breakup.
Ankita’s tweets to had taken an erratic turn where she gave out several hints at their breakup. Now everything is out in the open thanks to Mr Singh, who is currently shooting for Dinesh Vijan’s Raabta with Kriti Sanon.
