Kites
Nagpur Today.
India is known for its rich culture demonstrated in various forms like folk dances, festivals, apparels, cuisine and ethical atmosphere filled with respect and honor for every person in the world. The festivals in India are enriched with much importance and historical rituals mentioned in the scriptures of Hindu mythology. We celebrate many festivals with “Makar Sakrant” being one. Nagpur is known to celebrate the festival with great enthusiasm.
Tirpude Institute of Management Education (TIME) under the banner of Tirpude’s Premier League (TPL) recently organized Kite Flying competition. Multi coloured kites of various shapes and sizes dotted the skies. The kites, made by the students, displayed demonetized currencies, E-wallets, debit and credit cards on the kites. With the Annual fest of the college ‘Cashendo 2k17’ just around the corner, the theme for the kite flying competition was Cashendo- ATM (All Time Masti).
Hundreds of students participated in the event. The highlight of the event was the huge 8 feet tall kites decorated by the students. All the 16 teams had practiced enthusiastically and had put up an excellent show. The enthusiasm of the students is the driving force for the college. And with the Annual fest coming up, the enthusiasm is only expected to go higher.
