Nagpur: Nagpur Metro Rail is on its way to take the city on the fast track, in terms of feel and business! Now did you ever wonder that there can also be a turn of fate for the city’s once beautiful and all clean Nag river turned nullah? Can you believe that the river can flow back into its good olden times, gushing with pride amid the extra modern landscapes in the heart of Nagpur?

Well as a true blue Nagpurian you must have all the valid reasons to disagree with the above picture! But if the NMC’s top officials’ determination is any yardstick to measure, the city’s signature river is set to get much-needed face-lift with gardens on both sides, beautiful embankment, walkways and even boating.

And both civic body’s top brass and region’s political bigwigs are quite keen to go with the flow!

As the NMC’s general body meeting is set to clear Rs 1477 crore for the rejuvenation and beautification of Nag river, Nagpur Today is equally delighted to share how the river would be like, if the plan goes well!
Take a look at the visuals of how Nag river would greet you at various prominent points, vis-a-vis its existing status.
