In a broad day light daring case of kidnapping, an 8 year old son of famous dentist Dr Mukesh Chandak, Yug has been lifted by an unidentified Activa rider from near their residence at Guru Vanadana’s Apartment near Chhapru Nagar square here on Monday afternoon. Police have suspected kidnapping in the case and have launched extensive manhunt in search of Yug, whose father Dr. Chandak runs Chandak Dental Clinic on CA road at Azamshah chowk.
Police sources said Yug was last seen by their building’s watchman who saw him rushing towards a black colored Activa scooter and rode away pillion with a man who could not be identified. Yug is studying in Centre Point School.
On Monday, as Yug dropped from his school bus, he reportedly kept his school bag with the watchman and ran towards the Activa driver who sped away, taking Yug with him. When Yug did not return even after many hours, the worried parents called up their relatives and Yug’s friends to know about his whereabouts. However, Yug remained untraceable till the time of going to post.
Eventually Dr. Chandak lodged the complaint at Lakadganj Police which swung into action, however the case was yet to be registered.
Dr. Mukesh Chandak has issued Yug’s pictures and appealed to inform him at 9370201787, 8888857700 if anyone has any clue about his son.
Meanwhile police are also trying to establish the identity of the Activa driver.
