Nagpur: A family of seven members burst into a woman’s house and thrashed her and her two sons over old dispute. The accused family and another person have been in this connection.
The accused have been identified as Akash Shekhar Jaiswal (27), Sagar Shekhar Jaiswal (22), Suraj Shekhar Jaiswal (20), Naresh Shankarlal Jaiswal (53), Amit Jaiswal (25), Shivam Jaiswal (22) and Harish Umredkar (45, all residents of Deshpande Layout, Nandanvan. Around 8.15 pm on March 2 (Holi), all the accused entered the house of Kavita Ashok Khobragade (45), resident of Plot No. 203, near Nagoba Mandir, Deshpande Layout. The accused thrashed Kavita and her two sons severely over an old dispute.
Nandanvan API A M Kachore, based on Kavita’s complaint, booked all the accused under Sections 143, 147, 149, 323, 352 of the IPC. Further probe is underway.
