Nagpur: The Nagpur Central Sindhi Panchayat felicitated the Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for fulfilling his promise of handing over ownership rights of lands to Sindhi community members residing in Jaripatka. The community was demanding ownership rights of lands since the past 70 years. With Fadnavis fulfilling his promise, a wave of happiness swept the Sindhi community in city as well as in the state.
In a function organised at Sindhu Nagar Maidan, Jaripata, President of Nagpur Central Sindhi Panchayat Pratap Motwani welcomed Fadnavis by offering a floral bouquet and thanked him on behalf of entire Sindhi community.
Motwani said the entire Sindhi community is very pleased with grand gesture of the Chief Minister. NMC Standing Committee Chairman Virendra Kukreja played key role in the distribution of ownership rights of lands to the community members as he made concerted efforts in this direction.
Others who felicitated the Chief Minister include Dada Ghanshyamdas Kukreja, Dr Vinky Rughwani, Prof Vijay Kewalramani, and others.
