After the election, face of this constituency is in for a change as Khopde’s victory is certain and he is going to be provided with Red Beacon Car,” declared Union Minister for Surface Transport Nitin Gadkari while addressing a public meeting in Talpura Pardi as part of Assembly election campaign. Krishna Khopde is BJP nominee from East Nagpur constituency.
Gadkari further said, “People have to free Maharashtra from the sins of 15-year rule of Democratic Front (Congress-NCP) on October 15. Throw out this Government and choose BJP Government with clear majority for walking shoulder to shoulder with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Khopde played a major role in the construction of Rs 470 crore Pardi Bridge, Rs 200 crore Satranjipura-Pardi-Kalamna Cement Road. Similarly, Rs 9000 crore Metro Rail run will also run through Pardi. People should elect such servant of people,” appealed Gadkari in the meeting attended by a crowd of hundreds of people, party leaders and workers.
