Nagpur: The politics is most loved by citizens when they elect the the politicians whom they find working with good-will. But once they start acting on their ill-will, then they are subjected to severe criticism and blame-game, and no more regarded as ideal politicians. This observation has surfaced in an agony faced by a Congress loyalist and Zilla Parishad member, Nana Kambhale who happens to be an old political rival of Maharashtra Energy Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule and who resides near his house in Kamptee.

It is informed by Kambhale that he owns a residential-cum-commercial complex (with some shops) situated near Bawankule’s house. On April 25, 2015, at about 10 pm, the electricity department officials including flying squad led by deputy director of vigilance and local officials along with police officers raided the premises of Kambhale on the allegation of theft of power. No theft of power was noticed, as Kambhale claimed. However, an incident of letting electricity supply to the shops in complex and to the domestic meter from the construction meter of his house was noticed. Under section 135 of Electricity Act, a necessary action was then taken against Kambhale.

Meanwhile, as says Kambhale, a demand notice of Rs 1,85,900 was slapped on him on April 30, 2015 for alleged theft of power and prior to this he was also slapped with a demand notice of Rs 212000 under section 126 of Electricity Act on April 28, 2015.

Kambhale without any evidence is claiming that all this was done at the behest of Maharashtra Energy Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, just because of political rivalry.
