Nagpur: In a shocking incident, excess workout at gymnasium cost a youth his life. The youth died soon after returning home after exercise at a gym probably due to exhaustion and heat. The tragic incident took place in Nandanvan slums on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Manoj Balaji Chaudhary (23). Manoj, as usual, went to the gymnasium on Monday afternoon. After the workout, he returned home and went to sleep. In the meantime Manoj’s brother called him but did not get response. The brother and other family members tried to wake up Manoj. But finding him motionless, they immediately rushed Manoj to Government Medical College and Hospital but doctors pronounced him dead on admission.
On being informed, Nandanvan police have registered a case of accidental death as if now and launched an in-depth probe to ascertain exact cause of Manoj’s death. Woman PSI S S Chavan is investigating the matter from all angles.
Subject to investigation, the probable cause of Manoj Chaudhary’s death could be exhaustion and heat after the workout.
