Nagpur News: The Anti-Encroachment Department of Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s Nehru Nagar Zone cracked down on encroachers along Hasanbagh Kabrastan Road on Monday. Sheds of a total of 27 shops were either demolished or removed.
The shops include meat shops, tea stalls, pan kiosks, offices of land developers, grocery, and other shops. The action along Hasanbagh Kabrastan Road was taken after a gap of three years and the shop owners did not protest after being told about the High Court orders.
The team was led by Assistant Commissioner of Nehru Nagar Zone Bhoyar. Dumane, Gadre, Kherde, Mathurkar, PSI Ghodke of Hasanbagh and others participated in the drive.
