Nagpur: An international flight from Chittagong, Bangladesh, en route to Oman with Salaam Air, made an emergency landing at Nagpur Airport due to a medical emergency involving a passenger.
The passenger, identified as 33-year-old Mohammad Khair, suffered two seizures mid-flight, leading to immediate action by the flight crew. Upon landing, a medical team from KIMS-KINGSWAY Hospitals, led by Dr. Rupesh Bokade, Consultant in Emergency Medicine, boarded the plane to assess the situation. Mr. Khair was found to be conscious and stable, with vital signs within normal limits.
According to the cabin crew, Mr. Khair experienced two seizure episodes—one involving frothing at the mouth, and a second without such symptoms. He was quickly transported to KIMS-KINGSWAY Hospitals for further evaluation and treatment.
