In a tragic incident this morning at 9:55 AM, an elderly pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a speeding motorcycle (registration number: MH 31 EJ 4385) near Upadhyay Guest House on Ring Road, Mankapur. The impact of the collision left the elderly man with severe injuries, and he was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
It has been reported that the motorcyclist was driving under the influence of alcohol. An auto-rickshaw driver alerted the police about the accident, but as of the time of reporting, the police had not yet arrived at the scene.
