Nagpur News : Greed for money can break any relation. This was time and again proved and a similar case was registered in the city also where a brother attacked his brothers over some property dispute and attempted to kill his father. The youth has been arrested by Gittikhadan police on Thursday.
The brothers, who sustained injuries on chest and abdomen, were admitted to Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital for treatment. Police informed that the complainant Kunal Wasudeo Kadwe (22), was present at his residence at Krishna Nagar, near Hanuman Mandir, IBM Road, with his father Wasudeo Kadve (55) and younger brother Nehal Kadve (19). Their elder brother Vishal Kadve (24) barged into the house at around 5 pm with a knife in his hand and demanded money from Wasudeo. Vishal threatened Wasudeo to sell the house or he would not hesitate to take his life away. Seeing that the verbal duel was taking an ugly turn, Kunal tried to intervene between Vishal and his father, but this action enraged Vishal who in return stabbed Kunal on his chest. Nehal was a mute spectator till now, ran to help his elder brother who was lying in a pool of blood. But, Vishal did not spare his younger brother and stabbed him on abdomen.
Meanwhile, Wasudeo informed Gittikhadan police station about this act who swung into action and immediately rushed to the spot. Cops arrested Vishal and sent the injured to Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital for treatment. They were discharged after preliminary treatment. On the basis of the statement given by Kunal, cops have registered a case of attempt to murder against Vishal and registered an offence under Sections 307 of the IPC.
