The fresh spell of festivity has ushered in the feel of joy and warmth as the celebration season kick started with Eid-Ul-Fitr observed beyond religious lines in Nagpur on Tuesday. As the Muslims turned to savour the sweet sheer khurma and tempting sevaiyan, symbolizing an ideal breaking of fast going on for the last one month of Ramazan, city dignitaries too displayed their festive spirit in full celebration mood. As the morning ‘Eid ki Namaz’ was done, the atmosphere got filled with the echos of Eid Mubarak.
Union Surface Transport and Shipping Minister and Nagpur MP Nitin Gadkari visited Mominpura and wished a joyous Eid to all the citizens. Gadkari also enjoyed scrumptious sheer khurma offered to him by his well-wishers.
Congress party minority president Zakir Khan, proprietor of Green City Builders reflected the jovial gesture as he remained soaked up greeting his near and dear ones and having great time with kids and family members at his house.
Independent corporator and founder president of Jansangram Foundation Parinay Fuke also extended Eid wishes to all his fellow beings and well-wishers. Fuke also visited to one of the city mosques and exchanged the pleasantries with hordes of Muslim people.
