Nagpur: Delegation from Egyptian Military judiciary is on a visit to Institute of Military Law from 13 Oct to 15 Oct 2015. The purpose of visit is to understand the functioning of Institute of Military Law and to learn about the procedures of administration of justice in Armed Forces.
Col Sandeep Kumar, Commandant Institute of Military Law briefed the delegation about the history of the Institute of Military Law and Judge Advocate General’s Department. On 13 Oct 2015, he briefed the delegation about the training activities of Institute of Military Law.
On 14 Oct 2015, a lecture on Military Law concerning with the administration of justice in Army was conducted for the delegation.
The delegation was also informed that Institute of Military Law is actively involved in training of Officers in Military Law and allied laws to Officers from Indian Army, Navy, Air Force and also for Para Military Forces belonging to BSF, Coast Guard, GREF and also to Officers from Higher Command, Junior Command.
