Nagpur News: The National President of Bharip Bahujan Mahasangh Prakash Ambedkar on Monday said that the total rout of Mayawati’s BSP in Uttar Pradesh was due to her support to Congress. “Each and every party that supported Congress faced debacle in Lok Sabha elections then it may be Mayawati’s BSP or Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party, ” claimed Ambedkar while talking to media at a press conference in Nagpur.
Commenting on Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, Ambedkar said, “After humiliating defeat in the Lok Sabha elections, Congress must have understood that people of the country have rejected the party.
In this situation, unless the Chief Minister is confident that people will support Congress in the next six months then he should continue as Chief Minister. Otherwise, he should resign without wasting any time,” the National President of Bharip Bahujan Mahasangh Prakash Ambedkar said.
