Nagpur: Unit-1 of the Nagpur Crime Branch raided a grocery shop at Bajaj Nagar Square and seized e-cigarettes and other vaping devices worth over Rs 30,000 on Wednesday.
Acting on a tip off, a team of Unit-1 raided Harish Kirana Stores at Bajaj Nagar Square and seized the banned e-cigarettes and vaping devices.

The team took shopkeeper Rajkumar Murlidhar Dhoke (22), a resident of 63, Neelkamal Society, into custody and handed him over to Bajaj Nagar Police for further action. Bajaj Nagar Police registered a case under Sections 4,5,7 and 8 of Prohibition of Electronic Cigarettes (Production, Manufacture, Import, Export, Transport, Sale, Distribution, Storage and Advertisement) Act, 2019, against Dhok.
The raid was conducted by Senior PI Shubhangi Deshmukh, API Gupta, PSI Deepak Thakre and others under the supervision of DCP (Detection) Mumakka Sudarshan, and ACP (Crime)Manoj Sidam.
