Dutch Pharma Co to invest Rs 200 crore in MIHAN-SEZ, signs MoU with MADC

Nagpur: In a major development, Maharashtra Airport Development Company Limited (MADC) and Netherlands-based firm, Keystonemab, on Sunday, entered into a significant industrial agreement at the ongoing Khasdar Audyogik Mahotsav Advantage Vidarbha. The Dutch company pledged a Rs 200 crore investment at MIHAN-SEZ during the Advantage Vidarbha conclave on Sunday.

Keystonemab, the pharmaceutical company from the Netherlands, manufactures medicines for the treatment of cancer and heart diseases.

In line with the vision of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, the expo is being organised near the Administrative Building of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University.

On the second day of this festival, amid discussions of the pharmaceutical sector, Keystonemab and MADC Limited officials signed this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Keystonemab has diversified business interests ranging from pharmaceuticals to Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research. The company is all set to establish a state-of-the-art dose-form solutions manufacturing project in MIHAN, creating direct and indirect employment for at least 300 individuals. An annual revenue of Rs 300 crore is expected from the upcoming project.

The CEO of Keystonemab, Dr Tushar Satav, Chief Commercial Officer Dr Roland Meisel, and Retired Additional Collector Prakash Patil from MADC Limited signed the agreement in the presence of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. Chairman of Association for Industrial Development (AID) Ashish Kale, and Secretary Dr Vijay Sharma were also present on this occasion.

During this session of the pharmaceutical sector, other esteemed CEOs such as Dr Jitendra Sharma of AMTZ, Ravleen Khurana of Nitika Pharma, Dr Anwar Daud of ZIM Lab, Atul Mandlekar, Amit Kumar Sharma of Atram, and Alok Singh were present.

On the occasion, Gadkari said that Nagpur has excellent infrastructural facilities for exports which can be beneficial for the industrial units based in MIHAN-SEZ. “There is no need to go to any other hub such as Mumbai for exports, as top-notch logistical facilities like Sindi dry port are available right here,” he said.

Gadkari also encouraged other pharmaceutical companies to take advantage of this access. He also congratulated MADC and the Netherlands-based company for the agreement.
