Nagpur News : MIDC Police arrested a middle-aged man for killing his friend over a trivial issue on Sunday night. According to police, deceased Ganesh Sitaram Raut (32) was a native of Shivangaon. Accused Ishwar Jhiblaji Kohle (40), a resident near Corporation School, Shivangaon Road and Ganesh were consuming alcohol at Vinoba Bhave Nagar, near Khadan, Shivangaon Road, on Sunday night. Suddenly, a heated-up argument started over a trivial issue started between them. Ganesh lost his temper and attacked Ishwar with stone lying nearby. He hit Ishwar continuously on his head with the stone. Thus, Ganesh died on the spot.
On the complaint lodged by deceased’s brother Ramu Jhiblaji Kohle, an offence of murder was registered against Ganesh under Section 302 of the IPC and arrested Ganesh. MIDC Police are investigating the case.
