Doctors share awareness on Robotic radiosurgeries for the treatment of Cancer

Nagpur: HCG NCHRI Cancer Centre organised a press conference along with specialised doctors to share awareness on cancer treatments with the help of robotic radio surgeries at HCG. Being at the forefront in the fight against cancer, HCG has pioneered innovative treatments, methods and the introduced industry-changing technologies that have not only benefitted the patient but medical experts as well.

Robotic radiosurgeries are mostly performed for treating benign tumors and malignant tumors precisely and accurately anywhere in the body. Radiosurgery can be used for variety of diseases. For example, Inside the brain – Meningiomas, Pituitary adenomas, Acoustic schwannomas, Trigeminal Nueralgia, etc while outside the brain it can be used for lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, prostate cancer, liver cancer and head and neck cancer along with spine metastasis.
