Nagpur: HCG NCHRI Cancer Centre organised a press conference along with specialised doctors to share awareness on cancer treatments with the help of robotic radio surgeries at HCG. Robotic radiosurgeries are mostly performed for treating benign tumors and malignant tumors precisely and accurately anywhere in the body. Radiosurgery can be used for variety of diseases. For example, Inside the brain – Meningiomas, Pituitary adenomas, Acoustic schwannomas, Trigeminal Nueralgia, etc while outside the brain it can be used for lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, prostate cancer, liver cancer and head and neck cancer along with spine metastasis.
