Nagpur: A Director of a building construction company has been booked by Ambazari police on charges of forgery and deceiving an aged man to the tune of Rs 1.60 lakh in land deal.
The accused Abhijit Ramesh Nagkale (30), resident of Om Atharva Apartment, Vinayak Nagar, Hingna Road, Nagpur, runs Modern City Buildcon Pvt Ltd Company as its Director. The company is situated at Plot No. Z/6, behind Vijayraj Apartment, Bharat Nagar Square, Amravati Road, Nagpur.
The accused Abhijit negotiated a land deal with Shravan Chirkutrao Kueke (64), resident of Ramnagar, Telangkhedi, Amravati Road. However, the accused prepared bogus documents of Bazaargaon-based plot of land and even put his signature on the fictitious documents. With the help of fake papers, the accused took Rs 1,60,000 from Shravan Kueke on monthly basis over a period from 30.10.12 to 14.3.15. But Shravan neither received the plot nor his money returned. The accused duped him.
Ambazari PSI Tripathi booked the accused Director Abhijit Ramesh Nagkale under Sections 420, 471, 468 and investigating the matter further.
