Nagpur: Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis participated in an event in Mumbai on Friday, July 5, to honor players from the World Cup-winning Indian cricket team. After the event, he flew to Nagpur and headed straight to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters upon arrival. There, he met with RSS Chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat and several other key RSS officials.
The meeting between Mohan Bhagwat and Devendra Fadnavis lasted for half an hour. This discussion is considered significant, given the recent Lok Sabha elections where the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) did not achieve the expected success. Following the election results, Devendra Fadnavis had expressed his willingness to resign from his position as Deputy Chief Minister.
In this context, the meeting is seen as crucial, and it is speculated that they discussed the upcoming assembly elections.
