“A large number of development works done by me in North Nagpur has brought me nearer to the people of this constituency. Till today, you treated me like your brother and hence I looked after you caringly. My life is an open book and on every page of this book, only your names have been written,” said an emotional Dr Nitin Raut while addressing a public meeting at Farooq Ground in Teka on Friday.
Dr Nitin Raut, the Congress candidate fighting Assembly election from North Nagpur constituency, further said, “The progress of North Nagpur is in front of you. Here, an Islamic Cultural Centre and a Shaadikhana have been constructed along with several Vihars and community halls,” said Raut while highlighting his achievements.
Those who also addressed the meeting included Suleman who had come from Bikaner, former City Congress President Sheikh Hussain, Vishal Muttemwar, Jaideep Kawade, Shahil Nurani, Mansoor Khan, Altaf Qureshi, Jugal Kishore Babra, Milind Sontakke, Prakash Dongre, Madhuri Sontakke, Dinesh Balgopale and others.
The largely attended meeting was organized by Sandeep Madke, Rajkumar Darwade, Imran Khan, Imran Ansari, Arbaz Khan, Najim Qureshi, Javed Ansari, Ashif Sheikh, and Alim Bafali.
Aprat from this public meeting in Teka, meetings at Balabhaupeth, MHADA Colony in Nara, and Binaki Mangalwari were also held. The meetings were addressed by Prem Shukla, Deepak Khobragade, Sanjay Dubey, Yadavrao Shirpurkar, Sandeep Sahare, Adv Suryakant Jaiswal, Noor Mohammed Bakshi, Abdul Hamid Leader, Vinod Walde, Keshav Bokde, Khushal Hedau, Haribhau Kirpane, and others.
