Nagpur News: Ganeshpeth police booked a middle-aged man for allegedly threatening to cut his nerve and kill a girl who refused to marry him. According to police, the accused Omkumar Manikrao Tope (42), a resident of Manish Nagar, Besa, reached the house of Roopali Nagorao Chaudhary (25), a resident of Shaniwari Cotton Market, near Hanuman Mandir on Tuesday.

Omkumar demanded answers for refusal from Roopali for not tying nuptial knot with him. He then took out a blade and threatened to cut his nerves. He also threatened to kill Roopali if she again refuses to marry him.

On the complaint of Roopali, Jaripatka police registered a case under Sections 452, 504, 506 (A) of the IPC.
