Early strike
Aditya Thakare, bowling his maiden over in first-class cricket, has struck. Opener Kunal Chandela was forced into playing at a delivery which was angling in, before it got the outside edge to first slip. Even Dhruv Shorey has been troubled by his line and movement. It’s a superb start for Vidarbha.
Toss:
Vidarbha have won the toss and elected to field. There is usually some assistance for the pacers in the morning session and Vidarbha pacers would look to take advantage of that. There are no surprise selections coming from the Delhi camp, but Vidarbha have selected the young Aditya Thackeray, who was in the Under-19 probables, ahead of Lalit Yadav. The experienced Karn Sharma also doesn’t find a place in the side.
