New Delhi: A Delhi-based freelance journalist, Aparna Kalra, is battling for her life at Fortis Hospital after she was brutally attacked by an unidentified person on Wednesday.
Kalra, 45, was out for her evening walk in a park near her home in northwest Delhi’s Ashok Vihar when she was attacked. She suffered multiple brain injuries, but gained consciousness briefly on Wednesday night, after which she fell unconscious.
During the brief period that she was conscious, she managed to tell the police that she was attacked.
