Nagpur: Deputy Director Sports & Youth Services ‘A’ scripted a convincing winning start, defeating Geep FC 4-0 in a league phase outing of the Inter-Club Futsal Tournament on Sunday.
The meet is organised by the Deputy Director Sport & Youth Services at the Divisional Sports Complex in Mankapur. Prince Singh shot twice in the 11th and 17th minutes with Piyush Patil and Bhushan Deshmukh scoring once each in the 14th and 27th minutes respectively.

The match was one among four of the Boys Under-14 category. In the other three, Noble FC drew 2-2 against DDSYS ‘B’. Adarsh (5th min) and Rakshit (20th mins) scored for Noble FC. Yash Morad scored a brace of goals (18th, 25th minutes).
In another fixture of the same group, Mankapur edged past Extreme Club 2-1. Swayam (7th min) and Sanithya (20th) shot for the winners. Zaid Sheikh pulled back one for Extreme Club.
