Nagpur: The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Zone 2 Vinita S on Tuesday conducted a ‘Mohalla Meeting’ at Gaddigodam Chowki in continuation of aggressive community interaction in the area.
The DCP had specially summoned Wine Shops and Bar Owners of the area to warn against any violation of timings and allowing drinking in front of shop or selling liquor without permit.

In order to address the issue of addiction among youth, DCP Vinita S roped in NGO Alcoholic Anonymous and organised their session to counsel locals.
All the Police Stations in Zone 2 have been instructed to start making a record of such juveniles and persons in the area. The feedback from the local residents was taken and they have appreciated the efforts of Police.
Gaddigodam Chowki has been made fully functional after renovation and presence of Beat Officer and staff has been been compulsory.
